The Value of Networking
I recently attended the PMI Global Summit by myself to better my professional development and network. Even though I am generally outgoing, I had some apprehension being there without an already established network or tribe. However, I got out of my comfort zone and left the conference with new relationships and a big increase in my “NET”worth.
Networking can be a challenge and can be scary especially alone. Most people have extreme fears of networking and talking to others. The value of networking is much more than financial. Networking is an important tool to elevate your social well-being and it builds self-confidence.
